many Muslims have reversed the ruling by leaving their countries for the lands of disbelievers! So how can those whom Allāh has guided to Islam know such a ruling when the Muslims themselves are opposing it?! Let it be known to both groups that migration continues just like jihād, for the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Migration does not cease as long as the enemy is fighting," and in another ḥadīth: "Migration does not cease until repentance ceases, and repentance does not cease until the sun rises from the west," which is recorded in "al-Irwāʾ" (1208). It should be known that migration is of various types and for several reasons, and explaining them has its own context. What is important here is the migration from the lands of disbelief to the lands of Islam, no matter how deviant the rulers may be from Islam or negligent in applying its laws. It is, in any case, far better than the lands of disbelief in terms of morals, religiosity, and behavior. It is not, obviously, as claimed by one of the ignorant, foolish, reckless preachers: "By Allāh, if I were given the choice to live in Jerusalem under Jewish occupation or to live in any Arab capital, I would choose to live in Jerusalem under Jewish occupation!" He further added, saying verbatim: "I see nothing but that migration is obligatory from Algeria to (Tel Aviv)!" Such were his words, may his mouth be silenced, for its falsehood is not hidden from any Muslim, no matter how foolish! To bring closer to the minds of readers who love the truth and are eager to know and follow it, who are not intimidated by the clamor of the criers, the screams of the actors, and the agitation of the spiteful and envious preachers and writers, I say to those lovers: at least remember two ḥadīths of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam):
