al-Kharāʾiṭī also, and Aḥmad (6/459) and al-Aṣbahānī in "al-Targhīb" (1/107/189). In another narration by Aḥmad (4/227) from Shahr from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ghanm as marfūʿ. Narrated by al-Bayhaqī in "al-Shuʿab" (300/2) from the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿUmar as marfūʿ. In it is Ibn Lahīʿah, who is weak. A second witness, extracted by al-Haytham ibn Kulayb in his Musnad (159/2) from Yazīd ibn Rabīʿah from Yazīd ibn Abī Mālik from al-Azhar from ʿUbādah ibn al-Ṣāmit with it. I say: This isnād is weak. Yazīd ibn Rabīʿah is abandoned, and it is narrated by al-Ṭabarānī from his route as in "al-Majmaʿ," so it is not something to be rejoiced over nor used as evidence. But for the first part, there is a witness from the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿAbbās and others, its extraction was mentioned under number (1646). And for the other part, there is a witness from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah as marfūʿ. Extracted by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Ṣaghīr" and "al-Awsaṭ," and it is extracted in "al-Rawḍ al-Naḍīr" (1084). Then I found another witness for the first part, extracted by Ibn al-Mubārak in "al-Zuhd" (Q 201/2): Abnā al-Mubārak ibn Faḍālah said: I heard al-Ḥasan say: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Indeed, Allāh has servants who, when seen, remind one of Allāh."
