and al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb": "Shīʿī, truthful." Ibn Abī Shaybah added at the beginning: "I do not know which of them makes me happier: the arrival of Jaʿfar, or the conquest of Khaybar." With this addition, al-Bayhaqī included it in "al-Sunan" (7/101) and "Shuʿab al-Īmān" (6/477/8968) and said: "This is mursal." Then he narrated it through the route of Ziyād ibn ʿAbd Allāh: Mujālid ibn Saʿīd reported to us from ʿĀmir al-Shaʿbī from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Jaʿfar who said: He mentioned the ḥadīth of the translation (1), and said: "The preserved one is the first, mursal." I say: This is a third follow-up from Ziyād ibn ʿAbd Allāh, who is al-Bakkāʾī, and he is weak, and he disagreed, making it from the musnad of ʿAbd Allāh ibn Jaʿfar, while the correct version from Mujālid is from the ḥadīth of Jābir as mentioned earlier. Al-Ḥākim connected it (3/211) through another route from al-Ajlah from al-Shaʿbī from Jābir with it, but it does not include (the embracing). Then he narrated it from two trustworthy narrators from al-Shaʿbī mursal, and said: "This is a ṣaḥīḥ ḥadīth, it only appeared with such a ṣaḥīḥ isnād mursal." al-Dhahabī said after it:
