another aspect, which is their faith and belief in what Allāh has revealed, unlike the disbelieving Jews, for they denied it as indicated by their previous statement: "... and if you are not given it, beware of them and do not judge them," in addition to the fact that they are not Muslims at all. The essence of this is that disbelief is of two types: doctrinal and practical. Doctrinal disbelief resides in the heart. Practical disbelief is manifested through the limbs. Whoever's actions are disbelief due to their contradiction to the sharīʿah, and they align with what is settled in their heart of disbelief, this is doctrinal disbelief, which Allāh does not forgive, and its possessor will dwell eternally in the Fire. However, if it contradicts what is settled in their heart, they are a believer in the judgment of their Lord, but they oppose it in their actions. Their disbelief is only practical, not doctrinal, and they are under the will of Allāh, who may punish them or forgive them. This type of disbelief is the context for the ḥadīths that mention disbelief in relation to Muslims committing certain sins. It is appropriate to mention some of them: 1 - There are two traits in people that are disbelief: defaming lineage and wailing over the dead. Narrated by Muslim. (1) 2 - Disputing about the Quran is disbelief. (2) 3 - Insulting a Muslim is wickedness, and fighting him is disbelief. Narrated by Muslim. (3) 4 - Disavowing one's lineage, no matter how slight, is disbelief in Allāh. (4) 5 - Speaking of Allāh's blessings is gratitude, and neglecting it is disbelief. (5) 6 - Do not revert to disbelief after me by striking each other's necks. Agreed upon. (6)
أخرى، ألا وهي إيمانهم وتصديقهم بما أنزلالله، بخلاف اليهود الكفار، فإنهم كانوا جاحدين له كما يدل عليه قولهمالمتقدم: " ... وإن لم يعطكم حذرتموه فلم تحكموه "، بالإضافة إلى أنهم ليسوامسلمين أصلا، وسر هذا أن الكفر قسمان: اعتقادي وعملي. فالاعتقادي مقرهالقلب. والعملي محله الجوارح. فمن كان عمله كفرا لمخالفته للشرع، وكانمطابقا لما وقر في قلبه من الكفر به، فهو الكفر الاعتقادي، وهو الكفر الذيلا يغفره الله، ويخلد صاحبه في النار أبدا. وأما إذا كان مخالفا لما وقر فيقلبه، فهو مؤمن بحكم ربه، ولكنه يخالفه بعمله، فكفره كفر عملي فقط، وليسكفرا اعتقاديا، فهو تحت مشيئة الله تعالى إن شاء عذبه، وإن شاء غفر له،وعلى هذا النوع من الكفر تحمل الأحاديث التي فيها إطلاق الكفر على من فعل شيئامن المعاصي من المسلمين، ولا بأس من ذكر بعضها: ١ - اثنتان في الناس هما بهمكفر، الطعن في الأنساب والنياحة على الميت. رواه مسلم. (١) ٢ - الجدال فيالقرآن كفر. (٢) ٣ - سباب المسلم فسوق، وقتاله كفر. رواه مسلم. (٣) ٤ -كفر بالله تبرؤ من نسب وإن دق. (٤) ٥ - التحدث بنعمة الله شكر، وتركها كفر. (٥) ٦ - لا ترجعوا بعدي كفارا، يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض. متفق عليه. (٦)
