"The one who dies from pleurisy is a martyr." It was narrated by Aḥmad (4/157) and al-Ruyānī in "Musnad" (9/48/2) from Ibn Lahīʿah, who reported from Wahb ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Maʿāfirī, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Shamāsah, from ʿUqbah as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. I say: This isnād is acceptable for supporting evidence, its narrators are trustworthy except that Ibn Lahīʿah has poor memory. However, the ḥadīth has supporting evidence from the ḥadīth of Jābir ibn ʿAtīk and another from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, both of which are found in "Aḥkām al-Janāʾiz" (pp. 39 and 40).

"Remove harm from the path of Muslims." It was narrated by Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah in "Al-Adab" (1/149/1): He reported from Wakīʿ, from Abān ibn Ṣamʿah, from Abū al-Wāziʿ, from Abū Barzah, who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allāh! Guide me to an action that will benefit me." He said: and he mentioned it. From the route of Ibn Abī Shaybah, it was narrated by Abū Yaʿlá in "Musnad" (343/2 - Maṣwarah al-Maktab) and al-Ḍiyāʾ in "Al-Muntaqá min al-Aḥādīth al-Ṣiḥāḥ wa-al-Ḥisān" (280/1), and he said: "Muslim narrated it with its meaning." I say: It is with him (8/34-35) from the route of Yaḥyá ibn Saʿīd, from Abān ibn Ṣamʿah, with the wording: "Remove the harm..." Similarly, it was narrated by Aḥmad (4/420): He reported from Yaḥyá ibn Saʿīd with it. Then he said (4/423): He reported from Wakīʿ with it, with the wording of Yaḥyá
