I said: Its isnād is authentic according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs. And through another route, he has (3/279 and 289-290) from Shuʿbah with the wording: "He liked gourd, and in another wording: pumpkin." Its isnād is also authentic. It was also narrated by Ibn Mājah (2/310-311) through the route of Ḥumayd from Anas with the first wording. Its isnād is authentic according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī. It was also narrated by Abū al-Shaykh in "Akhlaq al-Nabī ﷺ" (p. 229-231) through other routes from Anas with both wordings. It was also narrated by al-Tirmidhī in "al-Shamāʾil" (p. 199) through two routes from him with the first wording. Its isnād is authentic according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs. And Abū Yaʿlá (3/1032) through another route, and Ibn ʿAdī (170/1) through a different route, both from Anas with the second wording. It was also narrated by Ibn Saʿd (1/391).
