in summary, this narration from Ibn ʿUmar has a strong chain of transmission, and there are many other narrations as well. Ibn Abī Shaybah included them in "al-Muṣannaf," and likewise ʿAbd al-Razzāq in his "Muṣannaf" (3/217-218). Among them, Ibn Abī Shaybah narrated from al-Mustamir ibn al-Rayyān who said: I saw Anas at the first door on Friday facing the pulpit. I said: Its chain of transmission is authentic according to the criteria of Muslim. There is no doubt that the practice of this ḥadīth by the Companions and those after them is a strong indication that it has a firm origin from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), especially since it is supported by the statement of Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) who said: "The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) sat on the pulpit and we sat around him..." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (921, 1465, 2842, 6427), Muslim (3/101-102), al-Nasāʾī (1/360), al-Bayhaqī (3/198), and Aḥmad (3/26, 91) through the route of ʿAṭāʾ ibn Yasār from him, with an addition in their collections: "I only fear for you after me what will be opened up to you of the splendor of the world..." the ḥadīth. Al-Ḥumaydī included it without the relevant part in his "Musnad" (2/325/740) and Abū Yaʿlá (1/340), and it was attributed in "Ṣaḥīḥ al-Jāmiʿ al-Ṣaghīr wa-Ziyādatuh" (2313) following the original "al-Fatḥ al-Kabīr" to (hāʾ) meaning Ibn Mājah, but I think this is an error, as al-Ḥāfiẓ al-Mizzī did not attribute it to him in "al-Tuḥfah." Then I saw it there (number 4043 - Dr. al-Aʿẓamī) through another route from Abū Saʿīd in a shortened form. Furthermore, al-Bukhārī included the ḥadīth in the "Chapter on the Imam Facing the People, and the People Facing the Imam when He Delivers the Sermon, and Ibn ʿUmar and Anas (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhumā) Facing the Imam."
