As for what follows; this is the fifth volume of "The Series of Authentic Ḥadīths and Some of Their Fiqh and Benefits" which I present today to our esteemed readers; so they may draw from it the authentic sunnah, its ripe fruits, of various kinds, its beautiful guidance, and its numerous benefits, which every Muslim needs in their life; including beliefs, acts of worship, transactions, ethics, and more. and the first ḥadīth that greets you from this volume is his (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) saying: "In every century of my nation, there are forerunners," which is a great glad tiding for this Muḥammadan nation of the continuity of those acting upon Allāh's rulings in every century, and that His saying: "Then We caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our servants; and among them is he who wrongs himself, and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of Allāh. That is what is the great bounty." (Fāṭir, 32) is not specific to one century without another, but rather it is general in all ages, until the Hour is established; contrary to what was narrated from ʿĀʾishah that the foremost in good deeds are only those who passed during the time of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam)! For it, in addition to contradicting this authentic ḥadīth, includes someone whose ḥadīth is abandoned; as is clarified in the other book (3235). This volume is distinguished by several matters; among them: the abundance of ḥadīths reported about his (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) characteristics and guidance, which fall under the section of (kāna), from number (2053-2141), including that "no two men would tread on his heels" (2087 and 2104); from the etiquettes of walking with dignitaries, contrary to what some Sufi shaykhs and scholars practice today, not to mention kings and princes!
