after presenting the isnād of ʿAlī ibn Ḥujr: "similar to what we mentioned." This is confirmed by the narration of al-Tirmidhī on the authority of ʿAlī ibn Ḥujr. In his context, as you have seen, is the ḥadīth of the chapter. It is likely that it is also with Muslim because their teacher is the same, so the context should be the same. However, Muslim did not present it, contenting himself with the context of Zuhayr ibn Ḥarb, and he did not point out this addition of Ibn Ḥujr for brevity. He has many such instances that are not hidden from the one deeply versed in the study of his book, and Allāh knows best. Then al-Tirmidhī said: "A ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ gharīb ḥadīth, we do not know it except from the ḥadīth of ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Yazīd ibn Jābir."

- "You must engage in jihād in the path of Allāh, for it is a gate from the gates of Paradise, through which Allāh removes worry and distress." It was narrated by al-Haytham ibn Kulayb in "his Musnad" (137/1), al-Ḥākim (2/74-75), and al-Ḍiyāʾ in "al-Mukhtārah" (69/1) through the route of Aḥmad ibn Abī Isḥāq al-Fazārī from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAyyāsh from Sulaymān ibn Mūsá from Makhūl from Abū Umāmah from ʿUbādah ibn al-Ṣāmit as marfūʿ. Then the first two narrated it from this route, except that they inserted Sufyān between al-Fazārī and Ibn ʿAyyāsh. Then al-Ḍiyāʾ said: Perhaps Abū Isḥāq heard it from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān and from Sufyān about him, so he would narrate it sometimes from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān and sometimes from Sufyān. And Allāh knows best. Al-Ḥākim said: "The isnād is ṣaḥīḥ." And al-Dhahabī agreed with him
