"The cure for sciatica is the tail fat of a Bedouin sheep, melted, then divided into three parts, and drunk over three days on an empty stomach, one part each day." Narrated by Ibn Mājah (3463), al-Ḥākim (4/206), and Ibn ʿAsākir (15/122/1) from al-Walīd ibn Muslim, who reported from Hishām ibn Ḥassān, who reported from Anas ibn Sīrīn that he heard Anas ibn Mālik say this as a marfūʿ ḥadīth.
