aslam narrated to me: Wahb ibn al-Aswad ibn Wahb from his father al-Aswad ibn Wahb, the maternal uncle of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and Ṣadaqah al-Samīn—who is weak—was put in place of al-Haytham ibn Ḥumayd, who is trustworthy! He inserted between Zayd ibn Aslam and Wahb ibn al-Aswad his son, and altered it, saying: Wahb ibn al-Aswad ibn Wahb from his father al-Aswad ibn Wahb! Ibn Qāniʿ narrated it in "Muʿjam," and the ḥāfiẓ said: "from the route of Abū Bakr al-Aʿyun from ʿAmr ibn Abī Salamah, he said: from Wahb ibn al-Aswad, the maternal uncle of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and he did not say: from his father, and he inserted between Ṣadaqah and Zayd al-Ḥakam al-Aylī, and both al-Ḥakam and Ṣadaqah are weak." I said: Thus, it becomes clear that this isnād is weak and confused, but that does not prevent it from being used as supporting evidence. And Allāh knows best.

- "Thunder is an angel among the angels assigned to the clouds, (in his hands or in his hand is a whip of fire with which he drives the clouds) and the sound that is heard is his driving the clouds when he drives them until they reach where he is commanded." It was recorded by al-Tirmidhī (4/129), Aḥmad (1/274), Abū Isḥāq al-Ḥarbī in "Gharīb al-Ḥadīth" (5/123/1-2), al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (no. 12429), Ibn Bishrān in "al-Amālī" (24/27/2), and al-Ḍiyāʾ al-Maqdisī in "al-Aḥādīth al-Mukhtārah" (folios 206-207) from ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Walīd al-ʿAjlī from Bukayr ibn Shihāb (al-Kūfī, not al-Dāmghānī) from Saʿīd ibn Jubayr from Ibn ʿAbbās who said: The Jews came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and said: O Abū al-Qāsim! We ask you about things; if you answer us, we will follow you, believe in you, and have faith in you. He said: So he took from them what Israel took upon himself, they said: (Allāh is a witness to what we say). They said: Inform us about the sign of the Prophet. He said: "His eyes sleep but his heart does not sleep." They said: Then inform us how a woman becomes feminine and how she becomes masculine? He said:
