however, it is supported by the ḥadīth of the chapter, and it may also be supported by what al-Ṭabarānī included in "al-Kabīr" (no. 3794) from Yaḥyā al-Ḥammānī, who informed us from Munkadir ibn Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir, from his father, from Khuzaymah ibn Maʿmar al-Anṣārī, who said: A woman was stoned during the time of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and the people said: Her deeds have been nullified. This reached the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and he said: "It is an expiation for her sins, and she will be resurrected on what remains besides that." Al-Haythamī said in "al-Majmaʿ" (6/265): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī, and in it is Yaḥyā ibn ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd al-Ḥammānī, who is weak." I say: And Munkadir ibn Muḥammad is lenient in ḥadīth, as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb," so remaining silent about him and criticizing someone below him is not good.

- "Any man who shoots an arrow in the way of Allāh, whether it hits or misses, will have the reward equivalent to freeing a slave from the descendants of Ismāʿīl. And any man who grows a gray hair in the way of Allāh, it will be a light for him. And any Muslim man who frees a Muslim man, each limb of the freed person will be a ransom for a limb of the one who freed him from the Fire. And any Muslim woman who frees a Muslim woman, each limb of the freed woman will be a ransom for a limb of the one who freed her from the Fire. And any Muslim man who presents to Allāh from his offspring three who have not reached the age of responsibility, or a woman, they will be a shield for him from the Fire
