"Jibrīl came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and said: O Messenger of Allāh, here is Khadījah coming to you with a vessel containing food or drink. When she comes to you, convey to her greetings of peace from her Lord ﷿ and from me, and give her the glad tidings of a house..." the ḥadīth continues in its entirety. It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (3/14 and 4/979) and also by Muslim and Aḥmad (2/230), and through his route by al-Ḥākim, who said: "Authentic according to the conditions of the two Shaykhs, but they did not include it!" This is what he said, and it is one of his many errors, which al-Dhahabī followed him in his critique of the two Shaykhs, but they did include it! 4 - As for the ḥadīth of Ibn Abī Awfá, it is narrated by Ismāʿīl ibn Abī Khālid who said: "I said to ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Awfá: Did the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) give Khadījah the glad tidings of a house in Paradise? He said: Yes, he gave her the glad tidings of a house..." the ḥadīth. It was recorded by the two Shaykhs and Aḥmad (4/355, 356, 357, and 381). (The word "al-qaṣab" here refers to: the moist pearls adorned with rubies.)
" أتى جبريل النبي ﷺ فقال: يا رسول الله هذه خديجة قد أتتك معها إناء فيه إدام أو طعام أو شراب، فإذا هي أتتك فاقرأ عليها السلام من ربها ﷿ ومني، وبشرها ببيت ... " الحديث مثله بتمامه. أخرجه البخاري (٣ / ١٤ و ٤ / ٩٧٩) ومسلم أيضا وأحمد (٢ / ٢٣٠) ومن طريقه الحاكم أيضا وقال: " صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يخرجاه "! كذا قال وهو من أوهامه الكثيرة التي تابعه عليها الذهبي في الاستدراك على الشيخين، وقد أخرجاه! ٤ - وأما حديث ابن أبي أوفى. فيرويه إسماعيل بن أبي خالد قال: " قلت لعبد الله بن أبي أوفى: أكان رسول الله ﷺ بشر خديجة ببيت في الجنة؟ قال: نعم بشرها ببيت ... " الحديث. أخرجه الشيخان وأحمد (٤ / ٣٥٥ و ٣٥٦ و٣٥٧ و ٣٨١). (القصب) هو هنا: الدر الرطب المرصع بالياقوت.
- "Jibrīl commanded me to give precedence to the elders." Narrated by Abū Bakr al-Shāfiʿī in "al-Fawāʾid" (9/97/1): Abū Ḥafṣ ʿUmar ibn Mūsá al-Tawzī narrated to us, informing us that Naʿīm ibn Ḥammād informed us, that Ibn al-Mubārak informed us, from Usāmah ibn Zayd from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar, attributed to the Prophet. I said: This isnād is weak, its defect being Naʿīm ibn Ḥammād, as he is weak, and some accused him, while the rest of the narrators are trustworthy and well-known, except for al-Tawzī, with the first letter being an open tāʾ and the wāw being emphasized. Al-Khaṭīb has mentioned him
- " أمرني جبريل أن أقدم الأكابر ". رواه أبو بكر الشافعي في " الفوائد " (٩ / ٩٧ / ١): حدثنا أبو حفص عمر بن موسى التوزي أخبرنا نعيم بن حماد أخبرنا ابن المبارك أخبرنا أسامة بن زيد عن نافع عن ابن عمر مرفوعا به. قلت: وهذا إسناد ضعيف، علته نعيم بن حماد فإنه ضعيف، واتهمه بعضهم وبقية رجاله ثقات معروفون غير التوزي بفتح المثناة من فوق وتشديد الواو. ترجمه الخطيب.
