"three times." It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr," and in it is Aḥmad ibn Rāshid, who is weak. As mentioned in "Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid" (4/167).

"The prophets—may Allāh's blessings be upon them—are alive in their graves, praying." It was recorded by al-Bazzār in "Musnad" (256), Tamām al-Rāzī in "al-Fawāʾid" (no. 56 - my copy), and from him by Ibn ʿAsākir in "Tārīkh Dimashq" (4/285/2), Ibn ʿAdī in "al-Kāmil" (folio 90/2), and al-Bayhaqī in "Ḥayāt al-Anbiyāʾ" (p. 3) through the route of al-Ḥasan ibn Qutaybah al-Madāʾinī, who narrated to us from al-Mustalim ibn Saʿīd al-Thaqafī, from al-Ḥajjāj ibn al-Aswad, from Thābit al-Banānī, from Anas, elevated with it. Al-Bayhaqī said: "It is counted among the unique narrations of al-Ḥasan ibn Qutaybah." Ibn ʿAdī said: "He has rare and good narrations, and I hope there is no harm in him." He said this, and al-Dhahabī refuted it by saying: "I say: Rather, he is ruined. Al-Dāraqutnī said in al-Barqānī's narration from him, 'His ḥadīth is abandoned.'" Abū Ḥātim said: "Weak." Al-Azdī said: "His ḥadīth is feeble." Al-ʿUqaylī said: "Many errors." I say: And al-Ḥāfiẓ confirmed it in "al-Lisān," and the rest of the men in the isnād are trustworthy, with none among them to be scrutinized except al-Ḥajjāj ibn al-Aswad
