There is no success or salvation for the servant except by dedicating worship solely to his Lord and being sincere to Him. This fundamental principle is the reason for which Allāh revealed the scriptures and sent the messengers to call towards it. Upon this principle, the marketplace of Paradise and Hell is established, and for its sake, jihad was legislated. All commands and prohibitions in the sharīʿah follow from it. Therefore, the servant must strive for sincerity and tawḥīd.
لا فوز للعبد ولا نجاة إلا بإفراد ربه بالعبادة والإخلاص له، هذا الأصل الأصيل هو الذي أنزل الله من أجله الكتب، وأرسل للدعوة إليه الرسل. وعلى هذا الأصل يقوم سوق الجنة والنار، وشرع لأجله الجهاد، وكل الأوامر والنواهي في الشريعة تبع له. فعلى العبد أن يحرص على إخلاصه وتوحيده.
