7 - (Muslim and Abū ʿAwānah) (Allāh is the Greatest, immensely, and all praise is due to Allāh, abundantly, and glory be to Allāh, morning and evening) a Companion began his prayer with it, and the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "I am amazed by it; the gates of the heavens have been opened for it." 8 - (Muslim and Abū ʿAwānah) (All praise is due to Allāh, abundant, pure, and blessed praise) another man began his prayer with it, and the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "I have seen twelve angels hastening to see which of them would raise it." 9 - (al-Bukhārī and Muslim) (O Allāh, to You belongs all praise; You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them. To You belongs all praise; You are the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them [and to You belongs all praise; You are the Sovereign of the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them]. To You belongs all praise; You are the Truth, and Your promise is true, and Your word is true, and meeting You is true, and Paradise is true, and the Fire is true, and the Hour is true, and the Prophets are true, and Muḥammad is true. O Allāh, to You I have submitted, in You I have believed, upon You I have relied, to You I have turned, with Your help I have argued, and to You I have brought my case [You are our Lord, and to You is the return, so forgive me for what I have done and what I have delayed, what I have concealed and what I have revealed] [and what You know better than I do]. You are the One who brings forward and the One who defers [You are my God] there is no deity except You [and there is no power nor might except through You])
