(Abū Dāwūd and al-Ḥākim narrated it and al-Ḥākim authenticated it, and al-Dhahabī agreed with him): he stands upright, then says: "Allāh is the Greatest," then prostrates until his joints are at ease. (Narrated by Abū Yaʿlá with a good chain of transmission and Ibn Khuzaymah with another authentic chain). And (when he intended to prostrate, he would say "Allāh is the Greatest" [and keep his hands away from his sides] then prostrate) descending to prostration on the hands
(أبو داود والحاكم وصححه ووافقه الذهبي) يستوي قائما ثم يقول: الله أكبر ثم يسجد حتى تطمئن مفاصله) (رواه أبو يعلى بسند جيد وابن خزيمة بسند آخر صحيح). و (كان إذا أراد أن يسجد كبر [ويجافي يديه عن جنبيه] ثم يسجد) الخرور إلى السجود على اليدين.
