(Ibn Khuzaymah and Ibn Ḥibbān in their Ṣaḥīḥ collections) (when you bow, place your palms on your knees, then spread your fingers apart, then remain until each limb takes its position) (al-Tirmidhī and authenticated by Ibn Khuzaymah). and (he would keep his elbows away from his sides) (al-Bayhaqī with a sound chain and al-Bukhārī) and (when he bowed, he would straighten his back) so that if water were poured on it, it would remain) al-Ṭabarānī and ʿAbd ibn Aḥmad in the Zawāʾid al-Musnad and Ibn Mājah. and he said to (the one who performed his prayer poorly): (Aḥmad and Abū Dāwūd with a sound chain) (when you bow, place your palms on your knees, extend your back, and establish your bowing) (authentic) and (he would neither lower his head nor raise it) but maintained it between the two, emphasizing the necessity of tranquility in bowing
(ابن خزيمة وابن حبان في صحيحيهما) (إذا ركعت فضع راحتيك على ركبتيك ثم فرج بين أصابعك ثم امكث حتى يأخذ كل عضو مأخذه) (الترمذي وصححه ابن خزيمة). و (كان يجافي وينجي مرفقيه عن جنبيه) (البيهقي بسند صحيح والبخاري) و (كان إذا ركع بسط ظهره وسواه) حتى لو صب عليه الماء لاستقر) الطبراني وعبد بن أحمد في زوائد المسند وابن ماجة. وقال ل (المسيء صلاته) :(أحمد وأبو داود بسند صحيح) (فإذا ركعت فاجعل راحتيك على ركبتيك وامدد ظهرك ومكن لركوعك) (صحيح) و (كان لا يصب رأسه ولا يقنع) ولكن بين ذلك وجوب الطمأنينة في الركوع.
