and he instructed the one who prayed poorly to do so, saying to him: (Abū Dāwūd and al-Nasāʾī, authenticated by al-Ḥākim and agreed upon by al-Dhahabī) (The prayer of any one of you is not complete until he performs ablution thoroughly as Allāh has commanded him... then he says the takbīr, praises and glorifies Allāh, and recites whatever is easy for him from the Qurʾān that Allāh has taught him and permitted him to recite. Then he says the takbīr and bows [placing his hands on his knees] until his joints are at ease and relaxed...). The ḥadīth describes the manner of bowing
وأمر بهما (المسيء صلاته) فقال له: (أبو داود والنسائي وصححه الحاكم ووافقه الذهبي) (إنها لا تتم صلاة أحدكم حتى يسبغ الوضوء كما أمره الله. . . ثم يكبر الله ويحمده ويمجده ويقرأ ما تيسر من القرآن مما علمه الله وأذن له فيه ثم يكبر ويركع [ويضع يديه على ركبتيه] حتى تطمئن مفاصله وتسترخي. .). الحديث صفة الركوع.
