(al-Bukhārī and Abū Dāwūd) and (they would recognize his recitation in ẓuhr and ʿaṣr by the movement of his beard) his recitation (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) of verses after al-Fātiḥah in the last two rakʿahs
(أحمد ومسلم) و (كان يقرأ في كل من الركعتين قدر ثلاثين آية قدر قراءة ألم تنزيل السجدة (٢٢: ٣٠:) وفيها الفاتحة). (أبو داود والترمذي وصححه) وأحيانا (كان يقرأ ب السماء والطارق والسماء ذات البروج والليل إذا يغشى ونحوها من السور). (ابن خزيمة في صحيحه) وربما (قرأ: إذا السماء انشقت ونحوها). (البخاري وأبو داود) و (كانوا يعرفون قراءته في الظهر والعصر باضطراب لحيته) قراءته ﷺ آيات بعد الفاتحة في الأخيرتين.
