and the origin of virtue and its reference point is the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and what virtue can be compared to his virtue in the slightest degree. Or have the least consideration beside him? If this is forbidden, prohibited, and cursed when done at the grave of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), then what do you think about the grave of anyone else from his nation? And how can it be right that virtue has a role in permitting prohibitions and committing objectionable acts? O Allāh, grant forgiveness, and all praise is due to Allāh who guided us to the truth and enabled us to follow it, and may Allāh send blessings upon Muḥammad, the servant and Messenger of Allāh, and upon all his family.
