like the author of "al-Fuṣūṣ" and others among the heretical fabricators like Ibn Sabʿīn and his ilk, and they testify that they are both the worshippers and the worshipped. and this is not a witnessing of the reality, neither cosmic nor religious, but rather it is misguidance and blindness from witnessing the cosmic reality, as they have made the existence of the Creator the same as the existence of the creation, and they have made every blameworthy and praiseworthy attribute a description for both the Creator and the creation, since for them, the existence of this is the existence of that. As for the believers in Allāh and His Messenger, both the common folk and the elite, who are the people of the Qurʾān, as the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Indeed, Allāh has His own people among mankind." It was said: Who are they, O Messenger of Allāh? He said: "The people of the Qurʾān are the people of Allāh and His chosen ones." These people know that Allāh is the Lord of everything, its King, and its Creator, and that the Creator, glorified be He, is distinct from the creation; He is neither indwelling in it nor united with it, nor is His existence the same as its existence. And the Christians were only declared disbelievers by Allāh because they said that the Lord indwells and unites with Christ specifically, so how about those who make this general for every creation? And they know, along with that, that Allāh commanded obedience to Him and His Messenger and forbade disobedience to Him and His Messenger, and that He does not love corruption nor is He pleased with disbelief for His servants, and that it is upon the creation to worship Him by obeying His command
صَاحب " الفصوص " وَأَمْثَاله من الْمُلْحِدِينَ المفترين كَابْن سبعين وَأَمْثَاله وَيشْهدُونَ أَنهم هم العابدون والمعبودون. وَهَذَا لَيْسَ بِشُهُود للْحَقِيقَة لَا الكونية وَلَا الدِّينِيَّة بل هُوَ ضلال وعمىً عَن شُهُود الْحَقِيقَة الكونية حَيْثُ جعلُوا وجود الْخَالِق هُوَ وجود الْمَخْلُوق وَجعلُوا كل وصف مَذْمُوم وممدوح نعتا للخالق وللمخلوق إِذْ وجود هَذَا هُوَ وجود هَذَا عِنْدهم. وَأما الْمُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّه وَرَسُوله عوامهم وخواصهم الَّذين هم أهل الْقُرْآن كَمَا قَالَ النَّبِي ﷺ: " إِن لله أهلين من النَّاس " قيل: من هم يَا رَسُول الله؟ قَالَ: " أهل الْقُرْآن هم أهل الله وخاصته ". فَهَؤُلَاءِ يعلمُونَ أَن الله رب كل شَيْء ومليكه وخالقه وَأَن الْخَالِق سُبْحَانَهُ مباين للمخلوق لَيْسَ هُوَ حالاًّ فِيهِ وَلَا متّحدًا بِهِ وَلَا وجودُه وجودَه. وَالنَّصَارَى إِنَّمَا كفّرهم الله إِذْ قَالُوا بالحلول واتحاد الرب بالمسيح خَاصَّة فَكيف من جعل ذَلِك عَاما فِي كل مَخْلُوق؟ ويعلمون مَعَ ذَلِك أَن الله أَمر بِطَاعَتِهِ وَطَاعَة رَسُوله وَنهى عَن مَعْصِيَته ومعصية رَسُوله وَأَنه لَا يحب الْفساد وَلَا يرضى لِعِبَادِهِ الْكفْر وَأَن على الْخلق أَن يعبدوه فيطيعوا أمره.
